Product Image#22

We need an option for product page, so product image is not zommed in,
for example we have all web images 1:1 ratio, however if we upload then an image that is 5:3 for example it will zoom in to a small area.

We need a “fill” or “contain” image option on the PRODUCTS page, exactly like we already have on the COLLECTION page.

Hey guys, the product pages do offer an image aspect ratio setting like on the collection pages already. In the theme editor, navigate to your product page template. Then, open up the Product overview section settings by selecting it in the editor. And then scroll down to the Media settings. (I will attach a screenshot for clarity.)

I’m going to archive this request since the feature already exists. But feel free to reach out to our support team if you need any assistance with this.

Its not image ratio as such, it is set to 1:1 in the above picture, “fit” or “contain image” is the option from Collection to product page that needs adding.

This would mean you could upload any ratio image, and the website would make the whole image fit into the 1:1 ratio, without loosing any of the image.

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding Neil. In this case, I would recommend trying out the “Natural” aspect ratio setting instead, as this should reduce the amount of automatic cropping that is applied.
