Quick cart: Option to add a "Continue Shopping" button#43

I have an idea about the Cornerstone theme that can improve and upgrade its sales.
When a customer makes a purchase and the cart appears with the product he intended to purchase, another button will appear that says “Continue shopping”, and when he clicks on this button the screen will switch to the same product that he purchased last, which means that he can continue purchasing from where he left off. In my opinion, this is a very important feature that appears on serious websites that I purchase from and it can significantly upgrade the theme and increase the amount of purchases.
In the attached example, you return to the purchased product page, although until recently it was possible to return to the last product that appeared with all the other products, which I think is more convenient and correct.

Just wanted to ask a clarifying question: The Hugo Boss site you referenced does exactly the same thing as Cornerstone with the cart drawer opening up, and the way to continue from there is to click into the space on the left of the cart drawer. As the purchaser is still on the product page, the “Continue shopping” button is also absent on their site (screenshot attached).

So what I’m wondering here is if you’re looking to add a “Continue shopping” button to the cart template (page) rather than the cart drawer? Shopify may not have a direct way for themes to reference anything beyond a specified link that you’d set in the Theme settings, but we’d definitely keep the suggestion open for that!

Thank you for your reply.
It’s strange, it’s not the page I see after I add a product to the cart, I’m attaching a screenshot of what I see, and besides that, it’s important for me to note that they slightly changed the position of the buttons and the page they return to.
I mean that under the checkout button there will be a “Continue Shopping” button and when you click on it, you return to the products page, where the product we selected was before we added it to the cart. I’m attaching a picture of a very commercial Israeli site that uses this feature, although it’s in Hebrew so you won’t be able to understand what it says, I’ll just point out that the black button above the green button says “haven’t you finished? Continue shopping”

Hi Nir, thanks for the clarification! I see Hugo does a different sort of flow for mobile, but I understand now and will update the title to reflect the usage in the cart drawer.

Thanks for the reply, I plan to purchase the Cornerstone in about a month, as I have many more photos I need to edit and upload to the website, do you think this feature will appear by then, when I start using the theme?
